Let Go 03:56
Let go I wish I could tell you I hope I can wake up But all that I see Im falling from this cloud Crawling the pavement On my hands and knees I don't know if this is for sure I've been waiting here a long while But I think I'll stay Until it fades away I know that you have gone Through these days long ago And we find out its not as easy to ignore There was nowhere to hide When I'm running You chase me down through my mind But I'll always come back cause I just can't let you go Now that you're here And I am still with you I feel you looking at me Try to appear that I've been away now When my heart is bruised and beat I don't know if this is for sure I've been waiting here a long while so I'll try to stay and keep the heartache away CHORUS I know we must go, Our time has run out I've seen it al before, so cruel and cut out So i'll hold my head high, cause I see tomorrow In and out of love, day after day CHORUS
2.
So I've Been Told Said you were jaded by twenty three Lost control when it all came so easily It aint always as hard as it may seem Or so I've been told my friend I know that im in disarray Hold on to what I know but it slowly goes away There's only so much a man can do in a day Or so i've been told my friend But it aint gonna get me down again Oh, the morning smiles as if it once knew me All the people run wild, always moving And I can't wither with you Running out of time, too much to loose Full of doubt driven by the past You were left conflicted when your heard told you to contest Live in the moment before its your last Or so I've been told my friend Well I will let you know when it ends CHORUS

The Remedy 03:46
The Remedy I've been having Nightmares Waiting for a sunrise that never comes Losing my ambition argue with the kitchen walls And I lost I know that someday we'll find our way Out of here Patiently we'll hold on, listen to a slow song Forget our fears Until our day is done You'll be the remedy, I'll be your symmetry All that I have lost Oh I still believe, we'll knock em dead you see You are the remedy Oh its been a long day I've been working my hands to the bone There tyranny is graceless Now you're feeling aimless all alone I know that soon there Will be truth where hearts rise So come with me my darling This ship will be departing in due time CHORUS Come on we found the ratrace will run us down Our hearts collide you that we're still alive CHORUS
4.
Calculated Love You could never see the man that you're supposed to see Always trying to subtract the things you thought shouldn't be I am sick and tired of all your excuses Try to add it up but its useless And I'll never say to you "There's not enough time" When I need you in my arms you never ask why Fractions of your heart fit into mine Its a calculated love Never calculated right Baby loves my but i know that we forced it Never fell into place we had to multiply it I don't need to nurture any more of this torment Take a long divide and forfeit CHORUS
5.
Extraordinary My mother said go against the mould But all these people just do what they're told Going your own way can take some time But life's too short to fall in line She said First on the field but last to hit the ball I still give it what I got or nothing at all I know its hard but its worth fighting for So shoot for the stars let's settle the score Well Im not sure when I'll make my mark At least we'll rattle some cages Shot in the dark When im lost I still sing cause everyday is Extraordinary Oh, Extraordinary Your mind is hungry mine is on the go And my heart keeps beating out of control I got a fire inside for whats in store So unshackle these chains lets kick down the door She said CHORUS Now I know that we are not all lost We'll find our way at all cost Take my hand we'll roll the dice Let our voices rise It's just a matter of time CHORUS
6.
Smack Talk 04:28
Smack Talk A young fool resonates in your bones Tall tales no one else recalls Why don't you save your stories Jealousy don't look good on you at all So Spin those lies They phase me less every time So call your friends Oh wait a minute, you lost all of them I can't take this anymore Cause the smack talk has gone too far So call me the enemy Hearts ache, can't help feel sorry Oh, the ignorance is wearing on the soul Don't need this category Can;t you see we're just pieces of a whole With closed eyes So much can pass you by It's too late To give it all up there's too much at stake And I can't take this anymore Cause the smack talk has gone to far So call me the enemy There's no need to justify Every decision in my life So call me what you will CHORUS
7.
Roses and Bottles Down to the lake the mountain cradled and snow up to our knees We take a walk the town's cold and deserted you got all the warmth I need The wind is howling right on through the day This fever is rising, wouldn't want it any other way Are we to far gone with roses and bottles? How could it be? What have you done to me? Is it wrong to have everything feeling so right? It seems How it's supposed be Well, later on we had wine at the table and talked about our youth How we chased around love holding dreamers ambitions wishing nothing but truth Well the seasons grew violent and the nights turned to days And the word love never meant much until I saw your face CHORUS Maybe we are only wasting time Maybe all the songs never seemed to shine I've never felt like this till tonight in my life CHORUS
8.
Wild Electric I've been running all around My arms reaching out to you Won't you turn around Got me looking like a fool She likes danger, jerk with a temper Unlike me Maybe later we could get together I'll make you believe I could be reckless, wild electric Your chaotic machine Two in the morning I'll be calling Come over if you know what I mean I can't be myself Its driving me mad I could be reckless, wild electric Cause you know I need you so bad Oh, its true I need to be with you I wanna take you out tonight But every time I ask you only roll your eyes She wants adventure, I start to fracture when I see her smile Maybe later we could get together at least for awhile CHORUS You are so desirable I can hardly breathe This is undeniable yet so out of reach So ill prove what I got Come on and give me a shot CHORUS
9.
Hello Wonderful Hello wonderful, you can understand my heart I need somebody now These days I predict drawn out like a bad movie script Oh, this story is old So tell me where it all went wrong The challenge is facing nothing at all When I dream emptiness appears So tell me how do I get out of here Hello wonderful, you can satisfy my soul Create a colourful sound Can't fade can't resist, bloke the punch but still get hit My head spirals around CHORUS I wait for the wind to carry me along But this destination never seemed so strong So you take me by the hand and encourage me to be strong I'll carry on Hello wonderful
10.
Drift Away 04:04
Drift Away I found an island in the middle of the lake Lets fill it with all we love Bring everything as much as we can take Start a new life and make our own laws Just me and you Swingin' on a rope over waterfalls Down the hillside in the rain No more worries no more troubles They will all just drift away Drift away We could take a quiet walk through the meadow I could pick you a bouquet Build a house in a tree that's been hallowed We will live for the day Just me and you CHORUS By the campfire I could sing your favourite song Stay up till the morning breaks CHORUS

about

Noel Johnson Toronto, Ontario

Maybe it was destiny, maybe it was coincidence, but when Noel Johnson came across an old Fender acoustic in a back alley in his hometown of Calgary at the age of sixteen, his fate was sealed. Years later, Johnson has honed his playing and songwriting chops without completely smoothing over the rough edges. The singer-songwriter’s folk rock is loose, rhythmic, rustic and catchy as hell. ... more
